Blend your very own Cadenhead’s Creation

Looking to try out your whisky knowledge and put your tasting skills to the test? Cadenhead’s Creation – Blending Session is a new addition to Cadenhead’s experience here in Campbeltown.  

Held in our brand new Cadenhead’s blending laboratory, participants will have the opportunity to blend their very own Cadenhead’s Creation.

Create your own blended malt or blended scotch by mixing together a combination of the 8 Cadenhead’s scotch whiskies provided from a selection of different cask types. This however will not be like any regular blending session – it will be carried out blind with no indication of what each whisky is. Let your senses take the lead to create your perfect blend. 

As a reward for all your hard work, you will then hand fill a 70cl bottle of your chosen blend which you can take home.

You can share it with your family and friends or keep it all to yourself – it is your very own Cadenhead’s Creation, after all! 

It is advised to book in advance via our website to save disappointment but we will also accept on-the-day bookings if spaces are available.

FAQ's

What whiskies will be provided?
A selection of 8 different scotch whiskies - you will find out at the end of the session what you have used in your blend.
What is included in the blending session?
Your very own 70cl Cadenhead's Creation blend, A6 notebook, pen, stemmed glass, blending certificate.
Should I book in advance?
To avoid disappointment, we recommend that tours are booked in advance to guarantee your place. Available to book 12 months in advance either online or by contacting us via email [email protected] or telephone +44 (0)1586 555468.
What is your cancellation and refunds policy?
We will provide refunds if tours are cancelled at least 48 hours prior to the tour time. After this time, no refunds will be given. Please call a member of our team on +44 (0)1586 555468 or email [email protected] to arrange a refund.
What if I’m driving, can I still take part in the blending session?
We highly recommend that if you are taking part in the blending session that all 8 whiskies are sampled to allow you to make your perfect blend however if you are planning to drive no whisky consumption will be permitted as we have a zero-tolerance policy.
When should I arrive for my tasting?
We recommend guests arrive around 10-15 minutes before their tour or tasting begins.
Are children permitted on the blending session?
Unfortunately, no under 18’s will be permitted during the Cadenhead's Creation - Blending Session. Under 18’s are welcome on our Springbank and Kilkerran Tours and can join free of charge as long as they are accompanied by a responsible adult. If you plan to bring along children, please add a note of this at the time of booking.
Where does the tasting take place?
Meet in the Cadenhead's Whisky shop - Campbeltown where you will be taken through to our new Blending laboratory by your host.
How many people can take part in a single blending session?
Blending sessions will feature a maximum of 8 people. This can be made up of a single group of 8 people or smaller groups who happen to book the same time slot.
